Arizona Adventure Education was formed to honor the memory of Corine Turner. Corine and her friend Linda Davis were tragically killed by a hit and run driver on their morning walk on September 11, 2006. Corine spent her life time working with the ill, children, charities, and serving her civic duties. Among those activities was helping rural families with terminally ill children gain access to the Make A Wish Foundation and taking them on their adventure of a life time. Arizona Adventure Education wishes to take rural students, grades 4-8 on various Arizona adventures. The goal is to combine hard work in the science classroom and good citizenship with real life outdoor experiences. With the help of Arizona Game and Fish, Arizona State Parks, Sportsman's Warehouse, and No Rebase Fishing Tournaments we will continue Corine's passion in helping others. | |
